Tall Dresser (2002)
This was the third and final piece I rescued from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA. It looked like it had great potential. However, I came to find out that the paint on that dresser was the hardest thing to strip. The paint stripper I was using was the strongest stuff I know of. While it would burn my skin if I accidentally splashed some on it, it had a hard time “eating” through the paint. This dresser required A LOT OF SANDING. It was a painful process, but it was worth it in the end.
